Warning: This post contains spoilers for Game of Thrones season 8. Daenerys Targaryen cares about the Iron Throne more than anything else. Daenerys declared during the second episode of season 8 that she loved Jon Snow and even diverted her singular mission to capture the Iron Throne because of his war. Will Jon Snow & Daenerys Hook Up On 'Game Of Thrones'? Fans Are Strongly For This Relationship
As all Game of Thrones fans know, Season 7 ended with Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen getting it on, despite the fact that, well, they are unbeknownst to them related. This theory was also seemingly proved by the latest GOT trailer, which shows the couple in what appears to be a lovers' quarrel. In the promo for Season 8, eagle-eyed fans noticed Daenerys looking into the fire while in Dragonstone, the seat of House Targaryen, as Jon sulks behind her. Shortly after, Jon walks off looking very unhappy — which is a major sign that "Jonerys" is no more.
Will Jon Snow & Dany Hook Up In The 'Game of Thrones' Finale? The Title May Be Deceiving
This story contains major spoilers through the most recent episode of Game of Thrones. It offered some long-delayed character development in the form of a moving meditation on the question of what we do, and whom we seek, when death is at our door. While Game of Thrones has featured plenty of lost or troubled romances over its run, it can sometimes be easy to forget that nearly all these couplings ended with death. Viewers also witnessed the new but long-awaited hookup between Arya Stark and Gendry Baratheon, some affection between Brienne of Tarth and Jaime, and even a flash of tenderness between Daenerys Targaryen and Jorah Mormont. Unfortunately, theirs is also the partnership that carries the highest stakes on the series.
It happened, guys. After a season's worth of sexual tension and build-up, Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen finally hooked up , and it was steamy. What else would you expect between two Targaryens? However, it was a bit awkward, as the scene took place in the same montage as Bran and Sam discussing Jon's real identity: he's the legitimate son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark , thus the true heir to the Iron Throne. This poses complications for two reasons: 1 Daenerys is Rhaegar's sister and thus, Jon's aunt.
