1. Manipulating the pre and postharvest environment to improve vegetable crop quality:

Harper Adams is leading the crop science component of a 4 year project studying the influence of irrigation stress on plant quality and post harvest performance of high value horticultural crops. Defra HortLINK funding joint with Cranfield University and Lancaster University. Post Doc – Dr Laura Vickers

2. Food safety systems for fresh produce

I have worked with a colleague, Dr Mike Hutchison, Bristol University to develop a set of tools to help growers implement food safety systems (www.safeproduce.eu)
